Natalie Portman is unbothered and unsurprised by her ex-husband’s new romantic endeavors as he was spotted locking lips with a mystery woman post-divorce.
The former Star Wars star is not batting an eye despite the fact her ex-husband Benjamin Millepied was seen sharing a public make out session with a new woman in Paris, France, just seven months after their divorce. The former couple’s split was made official in February of 2024 following 11 years of marriage during which they welcomed their 13-year-old son Aleph and seven-year-old daughter, Amalia.
The Hollywood couple’s breakup came after reports Benjamin cheated on the Black Swan star with 25-year-old climate activist Camille Étienne after images emerged of the two leaving his office together. And as he was seen sharing a passionate PDA sesh with someone new, a source close to Natalie says she is unconcerned about her ex’s new relationships.

The insider told US Weekly: “Natalie isnt surprised that Benjamin has moved on because of how their relationship ended. She thought hed move on pretty quickly,” and went on to add: “[Natalie] hopes Benjamin is happy.”
A second insider also weighed in and assured: “Benjamins dating life doesnt really have any bearing on Natalie. Shes super happy in her life right now and has been prioritizing family and friends,” and added: “Everything is moving smoothly so far.”
After the split, Natalie briefly sparked romance rumors with Hollywood hearthrob Paul Mescal after the pair were seen giggling and sharing a cigarette together outside a London bar. But the rumors were later squashed after it was confirmed that they were just platonic friends who share great admiration for one another. And while Natalie hasn’t confirmed any new romances yet, insiders say she’s thriving post-split.
Another source told US Weekly in June that Natalie took “a while to get her smile back after the divorce,” but she “turned a corner” over the summer. The source said “Natalie is her confident self [again], and that she had lighter step and more joy in her eyes.
In addition to spending time with friends and her children, the 42-year-old actress has embarked on new projects including a voice acting role. In 2025, Natalie has been confirmed to be joining the cast of the upcoming Netflix animated movie The Twits. The film will be directed by Phil Johnston and is based on the best-selling children’s novel by the same name written by British author Roald Dahl in 1980.
The Netflix movie synopsis reads: “This story follows Mr. and Mrs. Twit who are the miserable owners of a dangerous amusement park and their meteoric rise to power in their town. The Twits’ takeover leads to an ongoing conflict between them, two children, and a community of magical animals who are determined to stop them.”
