NBA Star Anthony Edwards Files Legal Suit Over Paternity Test and Child Support Dispute.ThuHa

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is reportedly taking legal action to determine whether he is the father of a child, according to court documents obtained by Page Six. Edwards, who has become one of the NBA’s brightest young stars, is seeking a court-ordered paternity test to confirm or deny his potential fatherhood.

The documents were filed in Georgia and reveal that Edwards is pursuing a resolution through the legal system.

The woman involved in the case has been identified as Ayesha Howard, a social media influencer who is also the mother of a child with rapper Lil Baby. Edwards is asking the court to mandate genetic testing to establish whether he is the biological father of Howard’s child. According to the Page Six, Edwards seeks an official court ruling on the matter. “If genetic testing shows that the petitioner is the father, the petitioner requests an order establishing the minor child’s paternity,” the filing states.

Along with determining paternity, Edwards is also seeking to address child support arrangements as part of the legal process. A court meeting is reportedly scheduled for November 13 to further discuss and potentially resolve the case.

While the situation is still unfolding, there has been no confirmation from Howard regarding any recent pregnancy. Known on Instagram by her influencer handle “Little Ms. Golden,” Howard has not shared any posts indicating a new child, which has led to additional speculation surrounding the case.

In a separate report, People previously noted that Edwards welcomed a baby daughter with his girlfriend, Shannon, in March of this year. Shannon is also said to have a child with rapper Chief Keef, adding another layer of public interest to Edwards’ personal life.

At just 23 years old, Edwards has earned over $44 million in salary during his NBA career and recently signed a massive five-year contract extension with the Timberwolves worth $244.62 million.

On the court, Edwards has quickly established himself as one of the league’s top players. He has been named an NBA All-Star twice and had a breakout season last year, averaging 25.9 points per game.

In addition to his NBA success, Edwards was a key member of Team USA’s Olympic men’s basketball squad, helping the team secure a gold medal in France last summer.

With his career continuing to soar, Edwards is set to lead the Timberwolves into the upcoming season, which begins on October 22 with a high-profile matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The legal proceedings involving Edwards, Howard, and the paternity case are expected to garner attention as the situation develops. As of now, all eyes are on the upcoming court date in November.
