During Prince Harry’s visit to New York City for Climate Week, he made a detour over to a famous tattoo shop.

The Duke of Sussex arrived to East Side Ink flanked by his security detail in a black SUV with two NYPD cars accompanying him. His team wore green slacks with gray polos, hanging outside as he spent about an hour in the shop.

Harry wasn’t seen with a tattoo at the time, but other celebrities have been known to make the most of their time at the location. Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, and Jeremy Renner marked their time filming Avengers by getting matching tattoos from Joshua Lord at East Side Ink.

The photos were obtained by Page Six who was told by a source that the royal did not get a tattoo, despite his time there. Instead, it was a part of a promotional stunt for an upcoming project. However, if Harry did choose to get inked up, it wouldn’t be a violation of British monarch protocol. Some of his family, including Princess Eugenie, have their own designs. However, Harry himself has never been reported to have a tattoo nor piercing.

Page Six were told that the prince was reportedly afforded an NYPD officer for his time in the city. Harry made the trek to the East Coast to speak at the Clinton Foundations Clinton Global Initiative event which tackled issues such as climate change. Concurrently to the event, the United Nation explored the issue only blocks away from his speaking engagement.

Even with the very serious appearance, Harry didn’t shy away from his edgier past. While at the event, he said: “Some say kids will be kids and that may well be true. Kids may get into trouble – I know a thing or two about that.”

Also during his visit, he stopped by The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon for a segment where he joined the host in visiting a haunted house. He wore a similar outfit during his tattoo excursion as he did during filming which was a green button up an dark jeans.
