Prince William has charmingly granted a student a “royal pardon” for tardiness. The 42 year old royal, during his visit to Ulster University on Friday as part of his official Northern Ireland tour, created a TikTok sensation. In the viral video, which has racked up over four million views, Samantha Johnson pleads with Prince William to explain her lateness to her professor.
Surrounded by other students, she prompts in the clip: “Yeah, just tell her why were late.”
After confirming the professor’s name and ensuring the camera was recording, William addresses Samanthas professor: “Lesley, Im very sorry were late, but they seem to be caught up, and they wouldnt believe that you were here, so, just wanted to say hi.”
