For the second time this season the Seattle Seahawks have a promising win-streak going. Early on when they went 3-0 to start the year it was their suffocating defense that got the job done and right now thats the case once again, even though the cast looks much different in this current production.
Next up on the schedule is a visit to face their old nemesis Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets. Old is the operative word, as the now-40 year old Rodgers is having his worst season since he became a starter way back in 2008 with the Green Bay Packers. The Jets enter this week with a 3-8 record and look highly beatable, even at home. Lets see what the odds are for this weeks game.
Seahawks-Jets Week 13 odds
According to the latest odds at DraftKings Sportsbook, the Seahawks are 1.5-point favorites for Sundays game at MetLife Stadium. Its been four years since they last faced this team, and both have radically different rosters since that meeting in 2020. One thing that hasnt changed is the Jets are still the sorriest team in the AFC, even though its for entirely different reasons now than four years ago.
For what its worth the Seahawks have dominated this series in recent years, winning each of their last five matchups with the Jets and each of them coming by 10 points or more.
Anything can happen but fans probably shouldnt expect a shootout in this one. Geno Smiths interception issues continue to plague him and Rodgers looks nothing like the league MVP he was just a couple years ago. Meanwhile, both teams have strong defensive units with stars at all three levels. Expect a defensive slugfest with the cleaner team coming out on top
