Even though the iconic Brangelina is long over, Mr & Mrs. Smith will last forever.
And so will fans’ love for the 2005 film. Embracing the cult classic film that had a hand in launching her and her co-star ex-husband’s relationship into superstardom, Angelina was pictured signing the original Mr. & Mrs. Smith movie poster on Monday night. The actress did so at the New York Film Festival.
Angelina seemed to wear a serious expression on her face as she autographed her name right near her face on the movie poster.
Additionally, her intentionally not looking at the photo of her ex on the poster before she continued with the night appeared to signify she had no interest in revisiting the past. The Girl, Interrupted star dressed in a classic chic style for the film festival, donning a black coat, nude heels, and black aviator glasses.

Angelina’s nude lip color paired nicely with her lightened hair, and her red manicured nails brought some color to the muted tones in her outfit. The Lara Croft Tomb Raider actress and the Bullet Train star portrayed two assassins in Mr. & Mrs.Smith. Mr. & Mrs. Smith came out the same year that Brad finalized his divorce from Friends star Jennifer Aniston.
When Angelina attended her premiere for Maria on Sunday with three of her children she refused to answer a question about her divorce from Brad, which happened earlier this month. Angelina put up “firm boundaries” and told the report asking her the personal question “no” at the event.
Though Angelina didn’t answer the question about Brad, she did explain that she plans to flee from Los Angeles, California, after her youngest kids became adults.
“I grew up in this town. I am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave,” Angelina noted during her interview. “When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety.”
Angelina has been on a promotion run for the new movie she’s starring in Maria. In the film, the Hollywood star portrays the late opera singer Maria Callas. While at the Venice Film Festival last month, Angelina blew the audience away, leading her to receive an eight-minute standing ovation for her performance.
Along with starring in a new film, Angelina is also reported to be romantically seeing British rapper Akala. Brad is already dating Indes De Ramon as he and the businesswoman went public at the 2024 Venice Film Festival.
