Cancelled podcast host Tana Mongeau, who has a net worth of over $4 million, has revealed the real reason why she joined the Internet adult site OnlyFans.
OnlyFans, while not exclusive for scandalous content, is an online service is used primarily by sex workers who produce pornography. The blonde bombshell, who is famously known for hosting her famous podcast Cancelled with Brooke Schofield, has been cashing out on the platform for years now from her massive fanbase.
And while some influencers try to keep their OnlyFans accounts a secret, Tana has unapologetically spoken out on the feminist reason why she decided to join the site herself. During an interview with The Cut, the 26-year-old said: “If I’m drunk and throwing a party and wearing a see-through shirt, I might as well monetize that.”

After being an Internet sex symbol for many years and sexualized, Tana explained that she wanted the ability to profit and take the power back into her own hands. She said: “So many men on the internet sexualized me for so long against my own will, and I got to a point where I finally was like, Damn, I might as well make a million dollars off of it.”
A large amount of Tana’s enormous fortune comes from the adult site. In an old Instagram post, which was shared 201 weeks ago, the Nevada-native showcased just how much she was really earning from the website. In the update she shared a snap of a glass trophy that was engraved with the words: “Congratulations top earner” and underneath it: “$3,000,000.” And Tana iconically captioned the post: “why do u do only fans?” good month @unrulyagency.”
In addition to being one of the top earners and generating millions of dollars through OnlyFans, Tana is also has a number of other revenue streams. Outside of the site, Tana runs her popular pop culture podcast Cancelled and her own YouTube channel.
Tana also previously ventured into the music industry, releasing her first song “Hefner” in November 2017. In addition to this, Tana also had a show on MTV that ran for a year in 2019 called No Filter: Tana Mongeau. Tana also launched her own brand of wine named ‘Dizzy Wine’ that was sold in a can.
