Therapuss podcast host Jake Shane proves once again why he’s one of the most relatable content creators on social media.
The influencer recently shared a selfie of himself looking expressionless on Instagram. It was slightly apparent from his heavy eyes that he might’ve been a little annoyed. In his caption, Jake revealed a tidbit of information about his personality.
“One thing about me is I’m so f- -king impatient and I don’t think that will ever change,” he wrote. The internet personality’s comment section was filled with people admitting how their level of patience mirrored his.
“SJ(same jake),” one wrote, and a second agreed, “Same, it needs to be studied.” Another noted, “only speaking truth. Meanwhile, someone else remarked: “Jake, you don’t know how many times a day my patience is my downfall.” Someone else added: “Your so real for that.

Jake is always very transparent with his fans, which is part of why he’s so popular. Since he’s podcast has grown significantly in the years since he’s launched his TikTok channel, he will be taking his Therapuss podcast tour on the road. Starting this month, Jake, who has 3.2 million TikTok followers and 834K Instagram followers, will be going on his Therapuss Live Tour until November 22.
He’s going to be traveling across the country to bring the Therapuss Tour to locations spanning from California to New York. Jake teased during an interview with People that the Therapuss Tour will be an “unhinged” in-person version of his online podcast. Each of his live shows in the tour will be different, feature surprise guests, and also interactive elements with audiences.
“I’m so excited to be in front of a live audience,” he told the news outlet. “It’s truly my favorite part of this. Sometimes when I’m recording a podcast or I put a podcast out, it’s rewarding, but when you don’t hear the laughs in real-time, you get a little more insecure about it or a little more in your head. So I am excited to hopefully feel a bit more confident after being able to make people laugh in person.”
Jake is often honest about his experiences with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder since he began posting content on TikTok three years ago. He uses his large platform to advocate for mental health, and normally does so by using humor to get his point across and connect with his followers.
