Five people have been killed in a Washington shooting – including 3 children – with a teenager arrested, police say.
Police responded to reports of gunfire inside a home in Fall City, Washington- around 25 miles east of Seattle. According to the King County Sheriff, five victims were found dead inside – three children and two adults, with a juvenile suspect in their mid-teens being taken in custody.
The shooting occurred just before 5am, with no further details on a relationship between the suspect and victims. Another teenager found injured at the scene was taken to Seattle Hospital. King County Sheriffs Office spokesperson Mike Mellis: “Once bodies were discovered, clearly we understand that this is a hugely significant crime scene.”

Mellis said the shooting did appear to involve members of a family, adding there was no ongoing threat to the community. I have no reason to think that there will be any additional arrests, he said.
According to KING-TV, a couple and their five children lived in the home. One told the publication: “Im just in total shock, I keep bursting into tears.” Sheriff Patricia Cole-Tindall told the media outlet she was very sad, very disturbed to learn about the shooting.
It comes after a North Carolina man, on what should have been the best day of his life, was shot and killed just hours after taking his vows with his new wife.
37-year-old Tyrek Burton tragically lost his life on Saturday in Greensboro, North Carolina shortly after his wedding ceremony to his long time girlfriend 33-year-old Kiara Holloway. Officers with the Greensboro Police Department responded just before 9 p.m to the Barber Park Events Center for reports of shots fired. When they arrived they found Burton suffering from life threatening injuries.
The 37-year-old had reportedly been shot 15 times, according to dispatch recordings obtained by WRAL News. Lifesaving measures were taken at the scene in an attempt to resuscitate Burton but they were unsuccessful and Burton died later that night.
Police are still investigating for an exact motive for the shooting but Keisha Satterfield, Burtons cousin, told investigators that the groom died due to a road rage incident that ended in gun violence.
No suspects have been identified yet, police told the Daily Mail, and investigators said detectives are actively investigating what led to the shooting.
A GoFundMe has been set up by Satterfield to help raise money for funeral expenses and to support Burtons family during this difficult time.
