Over the past year, Combs has faced multiple lawsuits accusing him of serious offenses such as rape, assault, and sex trafficking, all of which he has denied.
On a recent episode of her podcast, *Caresha Please*, Yung Miami explained her silence regarding the accusations. She stated, “I can’t speak on something that wasn’t my experience, and I can’t speak on something that I don’t know. I wasn’t around at the time.” She emphasized that her relationship with Combs began in 2021, long after the incidents in question. Miami also expressed frustration over how fans perceive her role in Combs’s controversies, saying she feels “crucified” for not publicly condemning him sooner.
She recalled meeting Combs during a time when he was receiving accolades, such as the MTV VMA Global Icon Award and the BET Lifetime Achievement Award. Miami noted that she celebrated his successes alongside the public and questioned why she should be blamed for their relationship when he was being honored.
In a separate interview with *People*, she described her emotional journey amidst the mounting controversies. Miami stated that watching the recently released footage of Combs attacking Ventura left her “deeply hurt.” She reiterated that her experience with Combs was different from what was depicted in the video.
Following the footage’s release, Combs issued an apology on Instagram, acknowledging his “inexcusable” behavior and expressing disgust at his actions during the incident. He referred to it as “one of the darkest times in his life.” However, he has since deleted all content from his Instagram account, including the apology.
The controversies surrounding Combs continue to grow, with a recent lawsuit from adult film star Adria English, who claims she was “groomed into sex trafficking” by him over the years. This lawsuit marks the tenth legal challenge Combs has faced since November, further complicating his public image and personal life.
